Cleanearth was founded in 2010 by Dean Robson in response to the introduction of new legislation in the UK that made, for the first time, investing in renewable energy sources, a financially viable option for many of us.

“My family, like many others, had long ago changed our habits to minimise our environmental impact, but we realised that to make a fundamental difference the next big step was to source our heat and electricity from renewable sources. At the time this was a costly investment – beyond the means of most. However, the introduction of FIT and RHI changed everything, making the switch to renewable energy possible for many of us.
